RH2 The Journey Arcade and RHC in Season 5
Daily rewards, the wheel, idle online cash, and how RHC differs from Reset Tokens.
RHC is the wallet that actually moves a Season 5 MyPLAYER. RH2 The Journey still stamps BETA after the 21 August 2026 launch, but Arcade, Plaza, Park, and Rec are already online. This page is the cash loop: how Arcade pays daily rewards and a wheel, why staying logged in there still ticks RHC, how Plaza and Park Rec feed the Journey Pass, and why Reset Tokens are a different pile you do not spend like cash.
If you just spawned, claim the welcome strings on the codes list first, then come back. If your jumper is still a coin flip, bank the RHC and train in Plaza with Shooting. If you are chasing 99 overall after the wallet is healthy, hand off to the overall grind. The rest of the Guides Hub is mechanics. This page is money.
Arcade on the main menu
Arcade sits on the main menu next to Plaza, Park, Rec, and MyCourt. Open it before you queue. Daily rewards live there. The wheel lives there. You do not need a Rec party to collect either. Spin once per cycle, claim the daily, then leave if you actually came to hoop.
Staying online in Arcade also earns RHC. That is the idle stream people mean when they say sit in Arcade. It is slow. It is legal. It is not a substitute for Plaza reps or a finished Rec game. Treat it as background cash while you read a build or fill the attribute planner, not as a career.
Do not confuse Arcade with Park. Park is 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 with a contest. Rec is the structured five. Arcade is the lobby that pays you for showing up. Season 5 put Arcade back on the menu after the waiting-room flip; the Season 5 notes cover that drop. Takeover Weekends sometimes hang extra event games on the same tile. Those events are a bonus. The daily and the wheel are the habit.
New accounts should still finish Getting Started before they camp Arcade for an hour. A wallet with 15,000 RHC and a Recommended template you never greened is how people buy cosmetics, then rage-reset. Learn Controls in Plaza, not while the wheel is spinning.
How RHC actually drops
Four legal pipes feed the same wallet.
Codes. The live Season 5 pair is welcometoseason5_RHC for 10,000 RHC and thankyoufors5_RHC for 5,000 RHC. Copy them from the codes hub and paste on the main-menu ENTER CODE box with the redeem steps. Join the BAX Studio group and favorite the experience or the box fails silently. Reset Token strings (welcometoseason5_RT, thankyoufors5_RT) are not RHC. Do not paste Season 4 leftovers or journeyPassBoost_S3 from the expired archive. Old Journey Pass boosts do not push the Season 5 track.
Arcade. Daily claim, wheel, and the idle tick while you stay online in that menu. Claim before Park so you do not forget. The wheel is extra, not a farm you spin through a script. BAX Studio did not add an auto-spinner.
Plaza training. Plaza is the social hub and a steady XP loop. Journey Pass uses EXP, not RHC. Green mids here. That EXP is how the Pass moves while you actually learn dribbling instead of staring at the wheel. A session that only claims Arcade and never shoots is a wallet with no jumper.
Park and Rec play. Online matches pay progress you cannot get from sitting still. Finish games. Quitting 3v3s the moment you trail is how Journey Pass stalls. Spacing and roles live on Park and Rec. Guards should match minutes on guards; bigs on bigs. Completing Rec is slower cash than a code, and faster EXP than idle Arcade.
RHC from codes and Arcade is cash. Journey Pass EXP is a track. Mixing those two in your head is why people sit in Arcade, wonder why the Pass is frozen, then buy a Plaza fit with the 10,000 they needed for attributes.
Spend RHC, hold Reset Tokens
RHC buys cosmetics and attribute points. That is the whole shop thesis. Cosmetics do not green a jumper. Attribute points do, if they land on the pillar your role actually uses. Plan the dump on the attribute planner and confirm thresholds on badges and Takeovers before you tap confirm. Match the spend to players so a guard is not buying interior strength and a center is not buying a tenth dribble.
Hold the 15,000 welcome RHC until you can hit open shots. Impulse Plaza outfits are how Season 5 wallets vanish before HOF Quick Draw is even in range. If the first template is wrong, that is a Reset Token problem, not an RHC problem. Tokens rewind a slot. Cash upgrades a slot you already intend to keep.
Do not spend RHC to paper over a broken release. Fix timing in Plaza. Do not spend RHC to buy a tenth dribble package you cannot repeat on Park. Do not spend RHC because a Rec random disliked your name. Patch notes on the Updates Hub are worth a look after a PATCH so you are not buying a bar the hotfix just retuned.
A sane first-week loop:
- Redeem both
_RHCstrings. Bank them. - Open Arcade. Claim daily. Spin the wheel. Leave it running only if you are actually staying online on purpose.
- Train Plaza until greens are boring.
- Play Park, then Rec, for EXP and real contests.
- Spend RHC on the attributes the planner marked, then cosmetics with leftovers.
- Keep Reset Tokens for a real rebuild.
Official drops still land on X @BaxRel and in Discord. Bookmark the links page instead of a screenshot folder. Arcade will still be there after you hoop. The wheel will still be there tomorrow. A wasted first attribute dump will not. Park is always queued; a broke MyPLAYER with a loud fit is not a Season 5 plan. Bank RHC, green the jumper, then spend on the build you already proved in Plaza.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, builds, shooting, and Park play.
What is RHC in RH2 The Journey?
RHC is the main currency for cosmetics and attribute points. Reset Tokens are separate and rebuild a MyPLAYER. Bank RHC from Arcade and codes before you shop.
How does Arcade pay RHC?
Open Arcade from the main menu. Claim daily rewards, spin the wheel, and stay online there for a slow idle tick. It is cash, not Journey Pass EXP, and it is not Park practice.
Which Season 5 codes give RHC?
`welcometoseason5_RHC` pays 10,000 RHC and `thankyoufors5_RHC` pays 5,000 RHC. The `_RT` pair is Reset Tokens. Redeem on the codes hub with the redeem steps.
Does the Journey Pass spend RHC?
No. Journey Pass uses EXP from Plaza training and Park Rec play. Old boost codes such as `journeyPassBoost_S3` are on the expired list and do not push the Season 5 track.
Should I spend welcome RHC on cosmetics first?
No. Green shots in Plaza, plan attributes on the attribute planner, then spend leftovers on fits. Cosmetics do not fix a broken jumper.
Is camping Arcade enough to reach 99 overall?
No. Idle Arcade is slow cash. Overall still needs Plaza XP, finished Park Rec games, and a planned spend. Use the overall grind after the wallet is healthy.
