RH2 The Journey Updates

RH2 The Journey is a live Roblox basketball experience, not a storefront for an unreleased title. BAX Studio opened the place on March 21, 2021. Season 5 launched Friday, August 21, 2026 at 5:00 PM EST after a waiting room on that same place. The Roblox title still reads BETA and unfinished, so every drop is a patch on an online game you can already queue.

This hub is the index. The creator rebuild, new Park, updated Plaza, Arcade, and the welcome codes live on the Season 5 notes. Live event hours sit on Takeover Weekend. Spend RHC and Reset Tokens from the codes list only after you know what changed. If a slot needs a rebuild, plan it on the attribute planner and copy a tested template from the best builds page before you tap confirm.

Season 5 is already on the court

The clock was public: Friday, August 21, 2026, 5:00 PM EST. Players who joined the waiting room collected pre-launch rewards while servers flipped. After that flip, Plaza training, Park, Rec, and Arcade returned as online multiplayer. There is no local split-screen. If a teammate is offline, you still match other Roblox accounts.

BAX Studio keeps the BETA stamp on purpose. Season 5 shipped a rebuilt creator with wingspans, body types, upbringings, and frames, then entered the usual hotfix loop. A free-throw timing glitch was patched after launch. Takeover Weekends rotate extra rules. The experience name often switches to PATCH or DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE while Rel pushes a build. That is maintenance, not a shutdown.

New players should still start with the getting started guide even after a patch. Codes do not replace a role. A 7-foot shooting Center and a tiny iso Point Guard both exist now; the update only matters if your attributes match the job you play in Park and Rec.

Timeline from pre-alpha to Season 5

Use this as a reading order, not as filler lore.

• March 21, 2021. First public build. Early accounts collected pre-alpha, alpha, and later BETA badges as the place matured.
• 2021–2022. Plaza stores, animation shops, Pro-Am talk, Arcade, and Journey Park arrived in waves. DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE titles were already part of the week.
• Season 3. Public drop Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 5:00 PM EST after a waiting room and a Takeover Weekend preview. Free RHC, trails, and gems were the usual bait.
• Season 4. Another live season with the same online Park and Rec loop, then a long quiet stretch.
• Hiatus. The place stayed listed. Clips and Discord rumors filled the gap until Rel posted the Season 5 clock.
• Season 5. Friday, August 21, 2026, 5:00 PM EST. Waiting room on the live place, then the new creator, Park, Plaza, and Arcade.

Older season badges on a slot are cosmetic history. They do not raise Season 5 caps. Rebuild from current thresholds on the badge list and takeover list instead of assuming last year’s height still hits HOF Quick Draw.

Waiting rooms, codes, and the PATCH title

A waiting room is the same Roblox place in a different server state. Join early, finish the listed tasks, and bank rewards before the 5:00 PM EST flip. Waiting-room gifts do not replace the BAX Studio group requirement for codes.

Season 5 opened with four strings: welcometoseason5_RHC (10k RHC), welcometoseason5_RT (3 Reset Tokens), thankyoufors5_RHC (5k RHC), and thankyoufors5_RT (2 Reset Tokens). Paste them from the active codes page with the redeem walkthrough. Skip anything on the expired codes list.

When the Roblox title says PATCH or DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE, leave the match if you can. Progress can fail to save during a flip. Recheck jump timing in Plaza after every maintenance. The shooting guide and dribbling guide are the first drills that break when the meter or stick delay changes. Keyboard and controller layouts stay on the controls page.

How to follow official notes

BAX Studio does not ship a Steam-style patch blog. Rel posts clocks, waiting-room links, and Takeover Weekend hours on @BaxRel. The Discord at discord.gg/rh2 is where codes, bug reports, and “servers are up” messages land first. Keep the official links page bookmarked so you are not copying invite URLs from random Park chat.

After a patch, walk this loop:

1. Open the Season 5 article if the creator, Park, or Plaza changed.
2. Claim new promo codes before they expire.
3. Test shooting and a short dribble bag in Plaza.
4. Only then queue Park or Rec with a role your position hub page would actually start.

This wiki updates the Season 5 page when Rel publishes a real change. We will not invent patch IDs or pretend a public Trello exists if BAX Studio has not posted one. If the title flips to PATCH, treat it as a save warning, then come back here for the notes and the codes list.
